Job Title: Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
About this Role:
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd Shift. This position will operate manufacturing equipment, move materials using a sit-down forklift, and load and unload sheets of paper into a baler machine.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure quality production.
- Make necessary adjustments to control warp, delamination, and fractured flute tips.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move paper, materials, and finished product throughout the facility.
- Load and unload sheets of paper into and out of the baler machine.
- Report maintenance issues or equipment defects promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to increase productivity while reducing downtime and material waste.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Ability to safely operate machinery and move materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
