- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Assist with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas

- Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and support
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
