PrimaCARE, P.C.is searching for reliable Medical Assistants to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practices running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants will work directly with healthcare practice staff to ensure excellent patient care. Essential functions and duties include:
Prima Care, P.C. was founded in 1996 and is a large, multi – specialty medical group serving southeastern New England. With over 150 providers, including primary care physicians and a broad range of specialists, we offer quality health care, a diversity of services and treatments, convenient and friendly service, and state –of-the-art testing facilities to support your diagnosis and treatments.
In addition to our main Fall River campus and walk-in Center, Prima Care has medical offices and Walk In centers in Somerset, Westport, and Dartmouth, as well as satellite offices in Tiverton, Rhode Island. We also provide care in patient’s homes, nursing homes and hospitals and two Outpatient Physical Therapy clinics located in Fall River and Somerset, MA.

Job Description
PrimaCARE, P.C.is searching for reliable Medical Assistants to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practices running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants will work directly with healthcare practice staff to ensure excellent patient care. Essential functions and duties include:
- Verify patient information by interviewing patient
- Record medical history into the Electronic Medical Record (ECW)
- Confirm purpose of visit
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature;
- Report patient history summary
- Assist in basic examinations
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Order supplies and stock patient care areas
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environments by establishing and following standards and procedures
- Medical Assistant Certification
- High level of professionalism
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, preferably EClinical Works
- Bilingual a plus
