What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Cleaner position at Priest River Animal Rescue?

- Schedule: Part-time, featuring flexible weekly totals. Core hours are approximately 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with 1–2 hours in the evening and weekends.
- Must be able to commit to this schedule, fill-in for vacations and/or sick days and be flexible.
- Must have texting ability and availability.
- Cleans cat cages and litter boxes in accordance with our sanitation protocol. Use of sanitizing chemicals are used to include bleach to sanitize laundry and dishes.
- Fills food and water bowls. Able to medicate animals when needed.
- Cleans dog kennels and outside runs in accordance with our sanitation protocol.
- Must be a responsible individual 16 years of age or older and good with dogs and cats (no allergies to either).
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must be honest and self-motivated and pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to shovel snow in the winter months.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- No criminal history. Background check will be done.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
