We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic team. Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, and appliance management including Invisalign.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials.
- Take 3D scans and x-rays, while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
- Experience with chairside assisting in orthodontics.
- Skilled in taking X-rays (including 3D imaging)
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $24.26 - $29.22 per hour
Expected hours: 22.0 – 30.0 per week
