Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate/ Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Summary
Responsible for unloading, receiving, and inspecting incoming aircraft parts, components, and materials in a fast-paced aviation warehouse. Ensures all items meet quality, quantity, documentation, traceability, and condition requirements while following company procedures, aviation-industry standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment
- Inspect aircraft parts and materials for damage, corrosion, contamination, correct part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and overall condition
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and required certification or traceability documents
- Accurately document and report discrepancies, shortages, damaged items, missing paperwork, or nonconforming parts
- Label, tag, and store parts in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures and handling requirements
- Maintain accurate receiving records and enter shipment information into the company’s inventory or ERP system
- Properly handle sensitive, hazardous, high-value, and shelf-life-controlled materials when applicable
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the receiving dock and surrounding work areas
- Follow company quality procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable aviation-industry standards
- Work collaboratively with quality control, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient receiving operations
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse receiving, aviation, aerospace, or aircraft-parts experience is preferred
- Familiarity with aircraft-part numbers, serial numbers, traceability documents, and certification paperwork is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and accurately document discrepancies
- Basic computer, inventory-system, and data-entry skills required
- Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, labels, and shipping documents
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods
- Forklift or pallet-jack experience is preferred
- Reliable, team-oriented, organized, and committed to quality and safety
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a MUST
Work Environment
Fast-paced aircraft-parts warehouse with frequent movement of packages, components, and materials. The position involves using pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, computers, and other warehouse equipment. Strict adherence to quality-control procedures, parts traceability requirements, proper material-handling practices, and workplace safety standards is required at all times.
