Duties for Cold Chain Order Selector:
- Fulfill customer orders by selecting, moving, and loading products (bags of dog/cat food, cases of cans, litter) onto pallets
- Work in a walk-in freezer at temperatures at or below -5°F for long periods of time wearing provided PPE
- Safely and solely bend, lift, move materials up to 50 lbs. repetitively and continuously throughout shift
- Build pallets accurately, properly, and efficiently
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck)
- Perform assigned functions while complying with safety procedures
- Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance, and a positive, professional attitude
Requirements for a Cold Chain Order Selector:
- Background check required
- Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment preferred
- High degree of skill and dexterity in operation and safe control of warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience/certification for electric pallet jack and Infor WMS is a plus
