PrideStaff Columbus-East is looking for Warehouse Custodians in the Pataskala/ Etna area.

Shift:

10:30am-7pm M-F

or

6:30am-7pm 12 hour shifts

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Job description:

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of production floors, machinery, and workstations using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in food processing areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular sanitation of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Handle waste disposal efficiently, including the removal of trash and recyclables from designated areas.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks such as floor stripping, waxing, and equipment sanitation as needed.
• Support warehouse cleanliness by organizing supplies and ensuring pathways are clear for safe movement.
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely when moving cleaning supplies or equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning processes.
• Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles within manufacturing or food production environments.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards applicable to food processing facilities.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and report issues promptly.
