PrideStaff/Southfield is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a world leader in automotive systems. This temp-to-hire position offers weekday schedules, competitive hourly rates, and optional Saturday overtime.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, products, and returns.
- Move stock to appropriate warehouse locations.
- Operate industrial powered trucks, swing reach trucks, stand-ups, and floor jacks.
- Verify part locations and quantities.
- Gather merchandise for customer distribution.
- Prepare outgoing shipments.
- Perform inventory control activities.
- Use RF scanning and process orders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in math.
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of warehouse experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Equipment safety and operations training.
- Experience operating powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up order pickers, stretch wrap machines, swing reach trucks, or banding equipment.
- Experience with bar-scanning equipment.
Schedule and Pay
- Monday–Friday; optional Saturday overtime.
- 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: $16.00 per hour.
- 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.: $16.25 per hour.
