Quality Inspector Position
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Bolton, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and audits of manufactured products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to perform dimensional inspections.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance protocols and address any quality control issues.
- Perform final and in-process inspection.
- Calibrate hand tools and electrical components.
- E nsure adherence to relevant regulations throughout the production process.
Essential Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers, height gauges, and standard measurement tools.
- Experience with Mitutoyo LH600E and/or TESA Hite 700 linear height gauges.
- Experience with manual CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
- The ability to work with tight tolerances and perform precise measurements within 0.0002 inches.
- Familiarity with gage tracking and calibration.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
