Laser Punch Operator
The Laser Punch Operator plays a critical role by operating advanced laser punching machinery to fabricate precise components used in various consumer products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser punch machines according to production schedules and technical drawings.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Inspect finished components for defects and adherence to specifications, documenting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to learn how to operate laser punch or similar CNC machinery.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to perform manual dexterity tasks and work with precision.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in CNC machine operation or laser technology, or previous experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, 1-3 years.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface operation.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics.
