What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at PrideStaff?
In this role you will perform preventative, corrective, and requested electrical work for all manufacturing departments in a timely manner.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Repair Electrical: you will repair and maintain all electrical work for day or night shift back to its proper working condition in a timely fashion. You will make recommendations on electrical improvements and determine parts and equipment needed to complete the job.
- Follow Instructions: you will follow all safety regulations, clean-up after each job and be on-call for after hour maintenance repairs as needed.
- Ensure Compliance: you will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. You will maintain cleaning compliance for each piece of equipment being repaired.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have safe work ethic pertaining to working on energized and de-energized high/low voltage circuits
- Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor
- Ability to work a 12 hour work schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years industrial electrical experience is highly preferred
