Machine Operator Job Description: 

PrideStaff is looking for several individuals to fill the role of a Machine Operator production associate to handle raw materials, operate a forklift, sampling, open product handling, packaging and facility cleaning. The Machine Operator will need to pass a physical, wear a face respirator, climb stairs, work in a facility that is cold, hot, noisy, dusty, and be exposed to a variety of chemicals.  The ideal Machine Operator will have prior experience working in a Warehouse production facility, can lift 50 lbs, have clear communication and time management skills.  If you pride yourself on having a strong work ethic, possess the ability to work independently with clarity and with accuracy, come apply with us.  The Machine Operator position is a full time, temp to hire position in West Sacramento, CA. 

Machine Operator Job Responsibilities: 

• Handle Packaged & Open Packaged Raw Materials
• Perform Basic Janitorial Cleaning of The Facility 
• Operate a Forklift to Load & Unload Product For Production
• Utilize a Respirator While Operating Machines For Ink Production 
• Operate Machines in an Industrial Chemical Plant 
• Follow Safety Procedures Such as FIFO (First In First Out) & Safe Operation Procedures 

Machine Operator Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required 
• Must be Able to Climb Stairs & Lift 50 lbs
• Must be Able to Pass a Physical & Wear a Respirator For Extended Periods at a Time (No Facial Hair Allowed)
• Must be Able to Work Near Active Electromagnets
• Must be Able to Fit in Tight Spaces
• Understand & Use FIFO (First In First Out), Hazardous Chemicals Operations, & Safe Handling Procedures 
• Must Understand & Use GMP, GDP, Sampling Procedures & Tools, Decontamination & Contamination Prevention Practices
• Exhibit Consistent & Clear Communication & Alertness
