This full-time Customer Service / Warehouse Associate position at a distribution center in Ontario, CA offers a great temp-to-hire opportunity with chances for growth. The role combines customer service duties with warehouse operations, involving order fulfillment, material handling, and communication with customers.
- Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, plus overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and correspondence
- Prepare, pull, package, and stage customer orders for shipping
- Operate sit-down and reach stand-up forklifts safely
- Maintain material flow and inventory control in the distribution environment
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel for administrative tasks and reporting
- Adhere to safety policies, rules, and procedures throughout all duties
- Perform general warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking during shifts
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years customer service experience with direct customer interaction
- 2–3 years experience in distribution or 3PL logistics environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Ability to operate sit-down and Crown reach forklifts
- Capability to lift 50 lbs continuously and maintain physical activity during shift
- Stable work history with positive references
- Willingness to work both office and warehouse environments
- Inventory control experience
- Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM plus overtime
