Sewing Technician - 1st Shift - Mills River - Up to $17.00/hr.PrideStaff is recruiting for a Sewing Technician for a manufacturing company located in Mills River. Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for cutting, marking, and fastener setting on raw materials and sub-assemblies.Operate related equipment including but not limited to: rivet machine, drill press, snap machine, strip cutter, hot wire, hot knives and heat sealer.Operate sewing equipment including but not limited to programmable tacking machines and be able to conduct routine sewing machine maintenance such as: thread needles, changing needles, bobbin changes and oiling machines.Set up sewing machine with proper thread, tension settings, and programmable operation settings as applicable.Package and label product for shipping.Assemble and test hardware.Qualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDAssembly and/or sewing experience preferredDemonstrated attention to detailAbility to read and accurately use length scaleUsage of templates, fixtures and markersHours of Work: Monday – Thursday - 6:30am-5pm or 7am-5:30pm
