The Recruiting Support Specialist is a vital member of the PrideStaff team, providing 15–20 hours of weekly support for core administrative, data integrity, and communication functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual seeking flexible work hours, or a student pursuing a related field, looking to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and HR operations within a fast-paced staffing environment.
Hours: 15–20 hours per week between 10am-4:00pm, no Fridays (Flexible scheduling available)
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
What you will do:
- Manage new applicant leads and source passive talent for client open roles using various online resources, professional sites, and databases.
- Review, clean up, and format candidate résumés for clear and professional submission.
- Other data clean up projects to ensure all candidate records, job statuses are accurate. Manage the shared recruiting email inbox, responding promptly and professionally to candidate inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and interviews for Staffing Consultants.
- Complete reference checks for candidates and compile feedback for the recruiting team
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive candidate and company information.
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Past administrative support experience in an office environment, OR currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous focus on detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written communication and technical editing skills (for résumé cleanup/formatting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and comfort learning new software, including our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
