3rd shift – Sun–Thurs – 10pm-6am
Electronics Technicians must be familiar with:
- All of the above at an advanced level
- Have a journeyman card
- Be able to connect and setup Allen Bradley PLC's (5, 500, 5000)
- Be able to follow and edit ladder logic in the Allen Bradley PLC's
- Be familiar with Fanuc Robot programming
- Be familiar with Link Omni Link controls and programming

BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Perform routine and complicated maintenance work including basic and advanced PLC work. Provide work direction to Maintenance Mechanic A (electrician trade). Perform other related work as assigned.
Must be a Qualified Journeyman Electrician with PLC experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience performing complex work in industrial electrical, electronics, computer and PLC maintenance.
Experience and competency in electronics including:
Demonstrated competency with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView and SLC 500 equipment shown by passing Allen-Bradley skills requirement criteria.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties according to specific department guidelines:
· Demonstrated competency with Link press control equipment shown by passing Link skills requirement criteria.
· Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Windows skills shown by passing Windows skills requirements.
· Responsible for helping to maintain and repair all machines and equipment in the facility. Performs all electrical repairs. Works closely with machine adjusters during repairs as well as manages the processes to ensure preventive maintenance is performed to ensure highest output of machines.
· Read and evaluate electrical schematics and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment
· Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems
· Responsible for general maintenance and electrical work of grounds, facilities, processes and equipment
· Experience in reading and troubleshooting from blueprints & schematics with system voltages 240 and 480 three-phase system.
· Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
· Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control.
· Use hand and power tools related to the electrical trades.
· Strong math skills including measurement
· Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic.
· Troubleshoot using meters, computer, schematics and manuals
· Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environment
· Maintain automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems (PLC's, HMI's, robotics, drives and computers)
· Promotes teamwork in troubleshooting events
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Effectively communicate problems and solutions to resolve mechanical problems.
· Participate in the on-the-job training of line mechanics, apprentices and fellow employees as needed.
· Use computerized maintenance system to retrieve and enter information.
· Observe safe work practices and ensure work does not endanger others.
· Perform other duties as required
Must have no serious medical conditions that would inhabit the performance of duties.
