Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or hazards
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances with effective conflict management techniques
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism activities
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, following established emergency procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for record-keeping and follow-up actions
Qualifications
- Must have Active Guard Card
- Must have Security Experience
- Must have clean driving record
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain if necessary
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor
