Pride Health is hiring Sterile Processing Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Austin, TX 78717. This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.
INFORMATION:
Location: Austin, TX 78717
Shift Time: Evenings Monday-Friday, 03:00 pm-11:30 pm and Nights, 11:00 pm-7:30 am, Monday-Friday
Floating Requirements: Will float to all SPD locations
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours
Locals' Pay range: $22 - $27/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.
Travel Pay: $1150/Week

Duties
- To provide for the efficient processing of instruments and sterilization throughout Texas Children's Hospital.
" * Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, medical device IFU’s
and best practices.
- Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately.
- Performs physical and environmental duties as designated on a routine daily basis, including but not limited to cleaning
work space/instrument room/cabinets, emptying biohazards waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental
monitors.
- Completes sterilization processes.
- Performs high level disinfection.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties.
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:
- Education: Highschool or GED or equivalent
- Licensing/Credentialing: CRCST/CSPDT Certification required
- Experience Required: Need at least 2-3 years of experience for this role due to high volume of work.1
- Experience Preferred: 1.5 to 2 years of travel experience.
