Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Harrington Park, NJ 07640.
This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Harrington Park, NJ 07640
Schedule: Mon 8:30–5:30; Tue, Thu & Fri 8:30–4:00; Wed 8:30–5:00
Pay Range: $19.85 - $21.79 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples safely and correctly from patients.
- Make sure patient info is correct and label samples properly.
- Keep the workspace clean and follow safety rules.
- Treat patients with care and respect while building trust.
- Fill out paperwork and keep records up to date.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment is an asset.
- Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is also preferred.
