Job Description:
Job Title: Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Location - Leavenworth, KS
Shift: Days; 5x8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 - hours per week
Contract Length: 13 - weeks
Pay Range: $2300.00 - $2500.00 weekly gross
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Social Worker provides comprehensive social services to patients and their families within an acute care hospital setting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention services to inmates
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment and evaluation activities
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all sensitive patient information
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively in treatment
- Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations based on patient condition
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- At least 2 years in a similar or comparable role
Education Requirements
- Master’s degree in one of the following: Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field
- Degree must be from an accredited college or university
Certifications & Licensure
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
- Active state licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSCSW, or LCPC (Kansas license required if applicable)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable role
- BLS - AHA
