General Summary: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on tractor. Perform repair on the following systems: wheels/tires/brakes, and suspension systems. Analyze irregular tire wear and correct root problem, inspect, and replace tires that are below minimum tread depth. Ensure that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner as to best represent Pride Transport. This person is an example of and perpetuates the five-company core values. Schedule:Thursday 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday through Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Pay: DOE, range of $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include
- Diagnose / repair / replace faulty components, systems and parts.
- Perform radial run-out / balance tires.
- Create repair order tickets and account for time.
- Attendance is essential job function.
- Perform other task/duties as assigned by management.
- Eliminating causes of tire failures if possible
- Repairing tires and placing them back into service
- Presenting tires for warranty credit when applicable
- Improving tire maintenance and tire selection if necessary
- Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment, and transportation
- Basic understanding of radial tire wear conditions and causes.
- Tire/wheel mounting and de-mounting.
- Tire/wheel inspection and analysis
- Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy.
- Customer service orientated.
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment, including forklift.
