General Summary: The Inbound Tech is responsible for efficient, thorough, and accurate fueling and performing post-trip inspections on company tractors and trailers. Ensures that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner to best represent Pride Transport. This person is an example of and perpetuates the five-company core values. Closes: When position is filled

Schedule: Thursday 12 PM to 6 PM, Friday - Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM

Pay: $18 to $21 /hour, depending on experience. $1,000 sign-on bonus*

Your responsibilities will include

General Summary: The Inbound Tech is responsible for the efficient, thorough, and accurate fueling and performing of post-trip inspections on company tractors and trailers. Ensures that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner as to best represent Pride Transport. This person is an example of and perpetuates the five-company core values. Essential Job Functions

• Inspection of the following
• wheel seals
• lights
• tire wear
• listening for air leaks and
• visual inspection of air lines
• brakes pads and brake adjustments
• slack adjusters
• any damage to equipment
• Fueling trucks and trailers with diesel fuel
• Fueling trucks with DEF
• Documentation and reporting of any damage and/or repairs necessary
• Communication and direction to the fleet with regards to the parking of equipment
• Attendance is an essential job function
• Perform other tasks/duties as assigned by management
  

Job requirements

Who We Are Looking For

• Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and transportation
• Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
• Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Customer service orientated
• Must be able to perform duties quickly, efficiently, and accurately
• Must be able to work in high pressure and fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older due to the equipment that will be used for this position
