Seeking a handicapped accessible home for an 80 year old woman who uses a rolling walker and requires hands on assistance with all activities of daily living.
She loves pets and enjoys their companionship. She prefers a quieter home without young children, where she can relax and engage in her hobbies, arts and crafts, sewing, and visiting with others in a calm, friendly environment. She enjoys spending time at home but would also like to remain active in the community, going out for an occasional drive and attending local activities. She enjoys being able to have her children visit her as well, maintaining her family connections is important.
An ideal home would offer a supportive, caring environment where she can feel both safe and comfortable, continue enjoying her interests, and maintain as much independence as possible with appropriate support. Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, have a registered and insured vehicle, and a clean and valid driver's license. Training, direct supervision, and a monthly stipend will be provided. Please include a resume with your reply.
