CNC Lathe Operator (Part-Time) Temporary

Pride Solutions is looking for a part-time CNC Lathe Operator to operate our computer numerical control (CNC) machining center to produce the required parts within specified tolerances, continuously monitor machine performance and part quality, and report problems as they occur.

• Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator
• Job Classification: Part-time (between 10 – 20 hours per week) | Temporary (3 to 4 months)
• Work Schedule: Flexible | Monday - Thursday, Anytime between 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

What You'll be Doing:

• Operate CNC Lathe machining centers while following safety regulations and procedures.
• Respect equipment and facility and take care of the work area.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Program and troubleshoot collaborative robot (CoBot).
• Make any necessary adjustments to the machines to achieve specifications or improve processes.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed to maintain efficient production operations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and processing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, programs, and work orders.
• Ability to drive a forklift and obtain certification.

Education and Experience:

• Current enrollment in a Machine Tool Program;
• Or at least 1 relevant work experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to move/lift product while bending and rotating.
