A growing company is looking for a District Property Manager to oversee operations for multiple properties within the state of Georgia and Virginia. The District Property Manager is responsible for supporting the asset management team in all aspects of property operations with a strong emphasis on financial statement analysis and all-around knowledge of multi-family residential property management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review accounting operations and analytical review of financial statements for multifamily residential properties
Measure and analyze key performance indicators
Assist in due diligence, closing transactions on acquisitions and dispositions and takeovers of newly acquired properties
Assist in developing financial and business strategies for properties
Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
Carry out project-based tasks
Complete ad hoc schedules/analysis/spreadsheets as needed
Correspond with Regional, District and Property Managers as needed
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in multifamily property management in a managerial role
Strong understanding of property management operations and finance
Advanced Excel skills required
Advanced analytical skills required
Knowledge of Yardi highly preferred
Ability to manage large and small projects
Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner while prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; effective communicator
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task is required
Some domestic travel may be required
