Responsibilities
- Lead age-appropriate cheerleading, gymnastics, ninja obstacle courses, swimming lessons, and tumbling classes with enthusiasm and clear instruction
- Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages children to try new activities and improve their skills
- Demonstrate proper techniques for sports-specific movements such as handstands, jumps, water safety skills, and more
- Manage class behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and proactive engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain safety standards by monitoring participants closely and responding swiftly to emergencies
- Assist in setting up equipment, cleaning up after classes, and ensuring all areas are safe and organized
Skills
- Positive attitude with high energy
- Experience working with children in sports or physical education settings
- Strong knowledge of cheerleading, gymnastics, ninja training, swimming techniques, tumbling, or related activities
- Prior coaching or sports-specific training instruction experience preferred
- Lifeguard experience along with swimming proficiency is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children and engage parents or guardians
- Team leadership qualities with experience in sports coaching or working within health clubs or gyms
- Knowledge of climbing safety protocols and experience teaching physical education contribute to well-rounded coaching capabilities

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
