Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support daily production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems, packaging equipment, and machinery while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and accurately.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience working in manufacturing environments, and a proactive mindset focused on minimizing downtime and improving plant performance.

Schedule:
Flexibility is required for days, nights, weekends, and shift coverage based on production needs.
Salary: $94,000 - $104,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
- Eliminate equipment breakdowns and support continuous production operations
- Install and repair electrical systems, electronic components, and industrial machinery
- Install conduit, wiring, and power supply systems for new equipment
- Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, relays, switches, lighting fixtures, safety relays, and position sensing devices
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on all site equipment
- Work with PLC systems, including connecting online and replacing input/output cards
- Utilize CMMS/EAM systems to prepare and complete work orders
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Support equipment changeovers according to production schedules
- Maintain and follow Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Electrical Safety programs
- Source parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance activities
- Assist in training production staff on electrical safety and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical support to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency
Qualifications
- Licensed Industrial or Master Electrician certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards including Arc Flash Safety
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated systems
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory audit requirements
- Experience working with outside contractors and vendors
- Technical college or vocational training considered an asset
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and support multiple shifts as needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and working in confined or awkward positions
