Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team at Pride Mobility. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and standard power tools to assemble fabricated parts based on product-specific work instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assemble power wheelchairs to meet order specifications and production standards
- Use hand and standard power tools to assemble fabricated parts
- Read and follow electronic work instructions and FDA guidelines
- Perform tasks in finished product packaging, including preparing accessories, wrapping, and packaging products for shipment
- Notify Team Leader or management of any parts defects or documentation errors
- Perform various tasks, such as moving product and fabricated parts at floor stations
- Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
- Operate touch-screen computer monitors and learn the Matrix/ProductionWare system
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience using hand or standard power tools assembling fabricated parts
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and quality requirements
- Ability to work under general supervision and direction from a Team Leader, Supervisor, and/or Manager
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
