What You'll Do

  • Recruit qualified candidates for positions throughout Pride.
  • Create and maintain job postings on Indeed and other recruitment platforms.
  • Review applications and identify candidates who may be a good fit.
  • Conduct interviews and get to know candidates beyond what's written on their application.
  • Work closely with supervisors to match candidates with open positions based on their skills, experience, availability, and overall fit.
  • Coordinate additional interviews with supervisors when needed.
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist selected candidates with completing pre-employment requirements and new hire paperwork.
  • Help new team members navigate the onboarding process and make sure they know what comes next.
  • Schedule and coordinate required training.
  • Set up new hires on Pride's online training platform and assign required courses.
  • Monitor training completion and follow up when needed.
  • Conduct individual check-ins with new team members at approximately 7, 15, 30, 60, and 90 days to see how things are going, answer questions, and identify concerns early.
  • Communicate with supervisors and Human Resources regarding feedback or concerns identified during new hire check-ins.
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and other community recruitment opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations to help build our candidate pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training records.
  • Look for new and creative ways to improve recruiting, hiring, and new team member retention.

Who We're Looking For

You don't have to be the loudest person in the room to be a great recruiter. We're looking for someone who is approachable, organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Communicates well with a wide variety of people.
  • Can make candidates feel comfortable during an interview while still asking the questions needed to make a good hiring decision.
  • Has strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Can manage interviews, hiring paperwork, training schedules, and follow-ups without letting things fall through the cracks.
  • Is comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with supervisors and Human Resources.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Is comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, online recruiting tools, and training systems.
  • Is willing to learn about Pride's services and the important work our team members do every day.
  • Recruiting, HR, healthcare, or human services experience is preferred, but we also value transferable experience and the right personality for the position.

Why This Job Matters

Hiring the right person is about more than filling an empty position.

The people you recruit will become part of a team that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Finding candidates who connect with Pride's mission—and helping those new team members feel prepared, welcomed, and supported—has a direct impact on the quality and consistency of the services we provide.

At Pride, we are People Helping People.

If you're ready for a recruiting role where you can build relationships, help people find the right opportunity, and be part of their success beyond their first day, we'd love to hear from you.
