What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA Personal Care Aide - Bilingual position at Pride Home Care Services LLC?
Position: Bilingual/Spanish Caregiver who is competent and compassionate to provide support for our clients in the Rome/Floyd County area.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide personal care
- Ensure client receives their medication on time
- Provide companionship, emotional and social support by active listening
- Assist client with simple exercises if allowed by MD
- Cook/prepare meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Do light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Help coordinate medical appointments or accompany to medical appointments
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Proven experience as personal care assistant
- Committed to health & safety
- Able to do light housework and cooking
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Strong ethics
- CPR and First Aid certified (online certification from NationalCPR foundation is NOT accepted by the State of Georgia)
- Negative TB test (Test is valid for one year from date of test)
- Must be willing to undergo criminal background check
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
