Title: Surgical CoordinatorLocation: New York, NY 10002Duration: 13-Weeks AssignmentShift: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hours Per Week: (37.5 hrs/week)Pay Rate: $21 per hour Required:• 2 years of recent surgical scheduling experience• High School Diploma required (Associate’s preferred)• Certifications: Medical Technology, ICD-9, CPT Coding (Preferred) Job Duties:• Coordinate OR surgeries/procedures, including insurance pre-certifications & medical clearances.• Manage front-office workflow and assist patients with questions or concerns.• Liaise between surgeons, providers, and referring physicians for scheduling and clinical information.• Make confirmation calls, schedule post-op visits, and enter data in Cerner.
