Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Flexible schedule required; start times may vary between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• Location: Southington, CT 06489
• Job Type: Local Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Local's pay range: $19-$24/hour (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.)

Duties:

• Assist providers with patient care and routine clinical procedures in a primary care setting.
• Prepare patients for examinations, obtain vital signs, and accurately document patient information in EPIC EMR.
• Support patient intake, scheduling coordination, and efficient clinic workflow operations.
• Maintain exam room readiness, patient records, and compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Deliver professional and compassionate patient service in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a similar clinical setting – Required.
• EPIC EMR experience – Preferred.
• BLS Certification through AHA – Required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to clinic scheduling needs.
