Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility, located in Seattle, WA 98104. This is a 6 month contract assignment (Possibility of extention or Conversion). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
- Job title: Medical Assistant
- Location: Seattle, WA 98104.
- Duration: Contract
- Pay: $25 - $29. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
- Shift: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm.
Specific Duties:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, height, weight).
- Verify medications, allergies, and medical history; update EMR.
- Complete patient intake and review required paperwork.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy and collect/label specimens.
- Prepare and clean exam rooms; maintain supplies.
- Document patient information accurately and ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Current, Washington State Medical Assistant Certification/ Registration (MA-C is required).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
