Cardiac Sonographer
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Pride Health.
Job Summary
This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, performing echocardiograms and collaborating with cardiologists to evaluate and report findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Image and assess heart function using echocardiograms, including chambers, valves, and vessels.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to evaluate and report cardiac data.
- Prepare patients for procedures and operate ultrasound equipment.
- Record, analyze, and maintain accurate cardiac data.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to strict safety standards.
- Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Perform stress echocardiography and treadmill assessments as needed.
- Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred (required for some certifications).
- Hold current RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS/RVS (CCI) certification.
- Obtain BLS/CPR certification.
- ECG certification is preferred but not required.
Additional Notes
No on-call duties are currently assigned. Participation in holiday shifts is mandatory.
