Traveler Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Traveler Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility, based in Gillette, WY 82718 (Multiple locations available in other states).

This is a 13-week travel contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Phlebotomist (Traveler)

Location: Gillette, WY 82718 (Multiple locations available in other states)

Schedule: M-F, 8a - 5p (40hrs/week)

Pay Rate: $1,500 Per week

The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred
