Job Title: RN – Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) – Contract
Location: New York, NY 10029
Shift: Night – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM & Days 7am to 7:30pm available
Schedule: 3x12 shifts
Compensation Details (Travel & Local available)
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,410.00 (Approx.)
Contract Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
⚠️ Required:
- Must have Cardio Surgical ICU experience
- Must have BSN
- Must have BLS & ACLS AHA
- Must have minimum 2 years experience
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) provides specialized care to critically ill cardiac surgical patients, including post–open heart surgery patients. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
This role requires strong clinical judgment and specialized cardiac ICU experience.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Post Open Heart experience required
- Minimum 2 years Cardiac Care Unit experience required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Cardio Surgical ICU experience required
- 1 year travel experience required (for travel roles)
- EPIC experience highly preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Associate Degree considered only with active BSN enrollment (if applicable)
Required Certifications & Licenses
- New York State RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
