Join Pride Health as a Specimen Processor at Batesville, AR! This is a 13 weeks assignment (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Specimen Processor (2nd shift)
Location: Batesville, AR 72501
Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Hours per Week: 30 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $16-18/hr. on W2 (Based on experience & education)
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-sort and accessioning support
- A-Station operations
- Specimen centrifugation and aliquoting
- Imaging and microfilming
- Pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory
- Accurately enter specimen information into laboratory systems.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a high-volume production environment.
- Learn and identify specimen types related to ordered laboratory tests.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and specimen handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety, quality assurance, and compliance policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing workload and departmental priorities.
- Support additional departmental duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced laboratory production environment
- Exposure to biological specimens and biohazard materials
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: None Required
- Previous laboratory or specimen processing experience preferred.
- Medical background or familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
