Job Description:
Job Title: Social Worker → LCSW (Auto offer)
Location: Leavenworth, Kansas
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: 5x8 Days (8 hrs)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range for Traveler: $2,200.00- $2,265.00 Weekly DOE
Job Description
- Provide non-medical clinical mental health services within the facility
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver mental health care services
- Perform duties at a pace consistent with job performance expectations
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments
- Review records and perform inmate interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Document all treatment and evaluation activities in healthcare records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatment
Required Skills
- Corrections experience
- Counselor / Social Worker background
Education & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in:
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Mental Health Counseling
- Or related clinical field
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Including 2 years in a similar role
- Required Licensure:
- LPC / LCSW / LMFT (state-specific)
