Pride Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Scrub Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team in Charleston, SC. This is a 40-hour per week, 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours.
Job Title - Scrub Tech with Cardiac and Vascular experience
Job Location - Charleston, SC
Shift - 40 hrs/ week
12 weeks contract
Day Shift – 0630-1500 with 2 weekday calls and every 3 th-4th weekend call.
Jan Start Date
Pay - $2100 to $2200/ Week
Key ResponsibilitieS
- Assist RN in coordinating patient care
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique & surgical procedures
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Physical ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with exposure to blood/body fluids
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification – Required
- 1 year OR experience preferred
- Perform scrubbing duties and maintain sterile field
- Communicate patient/procedure information
- Account for instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Serve as preceptor for new scrub staff
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper equipment care
