We are seeking an experienced OR Radiology Technologist for a 40-hour/week contract working 5x8 evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). The technologist will perform radiographic imaging in the operating room, support surgical teams, operate advanced imaging equipment including C-Arm and portable X-ray systems, ensure radiation safety, and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Weekends, holidays, and floating may be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures in the operating room using C-Arm and portable X-ray equipment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Verify patient identity, explain imaging procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist surgeons and radiologists by providing accurate imaging support during surgical procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately document procedures and comply with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of OR Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience (2 years in a high-volume trauma setting preferred).
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT Certification required.
- New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License required.
- BLS/CPR Certification required.
- Experience with C-Arm, portable X-ray equipment, and general radiography required; O-Arm experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

- 13-week contract position (extensions available)
- Shift is 8hrs/evening (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), with weekends, holidays, and floating as needed, 40 hrs/week

- Pay Range for Locals: $50 - $55 per hour
- Pay Range for Travelers: $2,540 - $2,580 per week
