Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist (General) for a 13-week contract assignment in Winchester, MA. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and are committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging care during overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively for general radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Evaluate images for quality and report findings to the radiologist or referring physician
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards
Requirements:
- ARRT certification (R) – Required
- Massachusetts state license – Required
- BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent general radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
