Job Details:
- Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
- Schedule: Night (2x10-hour shifts); Thursday & Friday: 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM OR Friday & Saturday: 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Job Type: Travel Contract/Local contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (approx.)
- Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours/week
- Travel Gross Pay Range: $1450/Week for 20 hours
- Local Pay Range: $50-$55/hour
- *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety using ALARA principles and radiation protection standards
- Review images for technical accuracy and completeness
- Document patient history and procedure details in RIS/EMR (EPIC preferred)
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers
- Upload and manage imaging in PACS system
- Assist with patient transport and support care as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and imaging equipment
- Support workflow efficiency and assist team members as needed
Requirements:
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program – Required
- ARRT (R) Certification – Required
- State of Wisconsin Radiographer License – Required
- BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical or student experience – Required
- Experience in diagnostic radiology – Preferred
- EPIC and PACS experience – Preferred
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills
