Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Lancaster SC 29720 this is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Phlebotomist IILocation: Lancaster SC 29720Duration: 3 MonthsPay Range: $18.80 Per Hour - $21.30 Per Hour Schedule: Mon- Fri 8Am- 4:30Pm EST *The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities:Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures.Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
