Phlebotomist

Shift- Mon- Fri

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using proper phlebotomy techniques while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Conduct point-of-care (POC) testing in accordance with laboratory protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing samples for transport or analysis.
• Complete manifesting of specimens, ensuring correct documentation, tracking, and chain of custody.
• Verify patient identity and test orders prior to collection to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain infection control practices and follow safety, HIPAA, and laboratory guidelines at all times.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid MAP License.
• Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy and specimen handling.
