Phlebotomist

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Mount Dora, FL! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist

Location: Mount Dora, FL 32757

Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19-21/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Maintain proper patient identification and labeling to ensure specimen integrity
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during procedures
• Handle pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with professionalism and care
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection duties
• Maintain accurate documentation and records using EMR systems
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Demonstrate professionalism and promote a positive image of the organization

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
