Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II/Phlebotomist II Floater to support our client’s medical facility, based in Ocala, FL 34481/Ocala, FL 34471

Location: Ocala, FL 34481/Ocala, FL 34471

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30 A-2:30 P, rotational Saturdays (40hrs/week)

Mon-Fri 8-hour shift between 5 AM - 5 PM, Rotational Saturdays.

Pay Range: $19.85 - $24.41/hr

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
