Phlebotomist II – Greensboro, NC 

Position: Phlebotomist II 
Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
Duration: 4 months contract to Perm hire 
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Weekdays
Pay Rate: $19.50–$21.25/hour (OT after 40 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identity and specimen labeling according to established procedures.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Work independently in Patient Service Centers (PSC) and physician offices.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Travel between multiple locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Strong venipuncture and specimen processing skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if travel required).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
• Phlebotomy Certification (required only in CA, NV, and WA).
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.
• Retail or healthcare customer service experience.
