Phlebotomist II

Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative to support our client's healthcare facility in Greenwich, CT.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8AM - 5PM
Location: Greenwich, CT
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13-Weeks
Pay Range: $20 - $23 Hourly
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Perform venipuncture and other blood specimen collections safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Collect specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including capillary collections.
• Prepare and process specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information and ensure specimens are correctly labeled in the patient's presence.

 
Requirements: 
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
License(s): None
Certification(s): None
Years of experience: Minimum 2 year of phlebotomy experience
Skills/Specialties/Technology: venipuncture, capillary collections
