Pride Health is hiring a “ Phlebotomist II” to support our client’s medical facility-based “Bridgeport CT 06606” This is a 3-4 Month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Pay rate: $17.50/hr to $23/hr
Duration: 2-4 months with possible extension
Shift: 8am to 5pm
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist II serve as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:
- Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
- Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
- Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
- Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Experience:
- 1-3 year of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
- 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
- Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
- Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
